Shri Gurubyo Namaha !!!

Heyi,

Shri Gurubyo Namaha !! "I salute to my teacher". This is a line which is often heard at a lot of concerts, programs.. We use it to salute ones Guru.. "Guru" means "Teacher"[for the benefit of those who do not know].

Yesterday was teachers day !! I had planned surprises for few important people in my life but couldn make it because of my health. Though, its not jus i have jus that one day ! Teachers day is jus like another Mothers Day and Fathers day and a friendship day. Its not that we remember them only that day, Jus that a day we dedicate to them..

Teachers are one of the very important people in our life. A Good Teacher is one who imparts knowledge, a great teacher is the one who Inspires.. All good teachers are not great ones though. I ve come across my fair share of teachers all through these 19 years of education and a few great teachers who have made a mark in my life. Hats off to them !! I still call them on Sept 5th.. I do wish them on their birthday !!. Apart from academics i was always into Dance and music. In places of art a guru plays a very important role. She is the one responsible for the Sishya(Student). She is an inspiration.

So comin to the point. We would never think of thanking our teachers. We might feel its their duty. But its not jus duty that they perform. Its passion. So, the list begins..

First Of all Stands Amma.. A mother is always the first teacher of the kinds.. Teaches us how to walk, speak, eat, bathe, wat not !! Hats off Mom !!!

I thank all my primary teachers.. Ms.Sunitha, Ms.Fraser, Ms. D'Monte, Ms. Ceaser, Ms. Michelle, Ms. Rathna.. They played a very important role in putting the basics on to our head and mainly improving my handwriting. It was bad [Now its good, thanks ta them] I ve got it on my knuckles with a wooden scale !!!

My unforgettable School where i learned the so much out of life.. Rosary Matric.. Remains the best teacher ever to me..

Middle School.. I was a BRAT! I sit on veranda walls, behave like a rowdy(gangster).. These ladies found it hard but atleast half accomplished in teachin me a qualities of a girl.. Ms. Anitha, Ms. Punitha, Ms. Antonet, Ms. Stella, Ms. Sheela( A GREAT teacher), Ms. Jayashri(she made me fall in love with geography), lot more..

High School.. Ms. Maria, Ms.Sudha, Ms. Mercy(Maths.. I was always a centum holder), Ms. Ramani(Unforgettable English), Ms.Meera(Right from Middle school-Sanskrit, The most patient person who put up with any nonsense i did and liked me so so much), Ms. Helen(Called us all dumbos)..

Apart from all this..My Music teacher at school Ms.Shyamala.. With her i spent half my school life in the piano room learnin so many new songs !!!

School time always had tutions.. And my tution teachers i would never forget include Diwakar, Arasu and at middle school where i never knew their name but always called them Miss..

MOP Vaishnav Graduation.. here faculty i d say din make a big impact on me but sure they improved my confidence levels and if i have so much Guts, its because of the course i did and the college i did it in !!

SSN.. My PG program MBA.. Here faculty did make a lot of difference.. I learnt a lot of professionalism from most of our faculty who walked in.. Mr Balasubramaniam(HOD), Mr. Kasturirangan, Mr. Shekar, Mr. Rajan. Apart from them.. Mr.Kannan(Gives a lot of valuable insights personal and work related), Ms.Vijaya Mani, Vani Haridasan, Mr.Mahesh Doraiswamy, and Mr.Srinivas Gumparthi..

There is a conspicuous absence? Mr.Srinivasan. I din put that up cause he still remains my teacher !!! I do learn a lot from him..

Then leaving behind academics, I should thank my dance teachers Ms.Kousalya who groomed my basics, Ms. Meenakshi who still remains one of my best teachers and a great role model for my dance.

Here is a list i made rattling my memories... Thank You so much all of you for making such a difference in my life and grooming me into what i am today !!

Ganapathi Bappa Moriya !!!

Today is ganapathi's day.. Vinayaka Chathurthi.. Ganesh Chaturthi is the celebration of the birth of Lord Ganesh. . Before we start any work, We pray to Lord Ganesha.

"Ganpati Bappa Morya,Phudchya Varshi Lavkaar Ya".

At home pooja was done as usual. But it was not usual. Cause mom was not there. Mom is outta town. So, i had an opportunity to use my cooking prowess. Todays menu was Drumstick Sambar, Rasam, beans carrot for vegetable. The special was the payasam which i had tried for the first time. It came out very very well.. Good Me !! Mom would be very happy ! And my whole family ate wel !

Though everythin went properly in place. The whole house missed amma.. A festival without mom at home is so so so so silent. And she is so full of activity and we landed up so bored.. Still.. There is a full day to go !!

Today am leaving on my first official trip ta coimbatore.. Tensed and excited.. catch u soon with my next post.. Which is" POST 50 "

The 20-20 Tag and Baby Krishna

This Topic is somewhat same as Sowmi's I stole it from her. I liked it though. Twenty twenty reminds all of u about cricket. But i remember the money they jus spilt over it and the amount of wastage for people to be entertained.. And how they spoilt the authenticity of a game. Leave that apart. my this 20-20 is wat sowmi said.. Ten things i would do in my twenties or atleast dream and aspire ta do.

• Work really hard at work place and accomplish wat i have to. This is cause i work on a start up project so at the end of it its like my baby which is born.. I have mentioned this earlier.
• Have a great growth in career in a short time.
• Earn and Spend, Earn and Spend and do it like a routine.
• Make my bro get admission in a International University For Automibile Engg
• Marry.. Cant Wait for it.
• Go See alps with my Hubby.
• Make a mark in my dance.
• Furnish the house wherever I live in with a theme like Italian or Mediterranean
• Make my mom, dad and my well wishers say "She Has Achieved It" "Look At her"
• Be Associated with some National Art and Culture Division like some consulate or embassy and make people aware of Indian culture.. DO Culture training

Actually there are a lot more.,.. I Will add more in some coming posts. As for now i had a really really long day and i am tired.. Today being krishna Jayanthi. I rushed back from work and went for pooja. And my mom had arranged a Bhajan session. Relaxed me so much.. I was singing and all my senses revolved around baby krishna.. There was this cute baby in my flat. Dressed like baby krishna... . I jus couldn take my eyes off him... He was jus runnin here and there like naughty krishna...Here is his pic.

And that was a busy day with a nice ending... See you soon...

Birthday !!

hey hi,

I know its pretty late after my birthday that am posting this blog... but certain circumstances led me ta not write yesterday.. 

So, Yesterday was my birthday.. It started off really well.. i had college though. i had mentioned bout my presentation.. That went really well too.. but i fought and argued with my professor for something though.. Had lunch with frnds and in a nice place.. 

Evening my family we left to the restaurant infact to my favorite restaurant to find it being closed for good. Next line was an authentic restaurant.. where the waiter warned us a 45 min wait to even get a seat.. And then we landed up goin to the same old Saravana Bhavan.. Though i loved the falooda there,.. I am still curious as to y my favorite restaurant Grains of Paradise is closed for good.. Cause i had been there jus a minth ago.. It kinda made me feel bad.. 

actually i know this post is kinda not so interesting.. thats because am almost down with fever.. and my head ache is killin me.. But i found it difficult to resist writing somethin to atleast scrape of my monotony in bed.,.

Post Valentine' Day !!!

Back again after this gap.  Though i did nothin these days other than sittin on the system all day long not knowin wat to do. I jus din feel like posting somethin. But its my friends sudden suggestion that made me write this post.

As per the above topic(am sorry bout this kind of bookish sentences, but this is wat i majorly gained from MBA, polishing and varnishing english) if u readin this post thinking its my valentine' day experience am sorry its not so spicy.  i ve jus commented a bit on the duller side.

Valentine' Day and Lover' Day and Feb 14(all mean the same) creating so much hype. It came and its gone. Its gone as yet another boring day.  All i did on this sweet cute saturday was to call up my friends, have a conversation and listen to their Valentine Woes.. My dearest friend had such a big row with his girl on his date ending up at office suddenly to check mails with movie tickets going waste.  And yet another two closest nut case friends of mine never met their partners(so din I, thats apart). And finally one more couple(i thot they were) never wished each other even.  So this was one of the coolest Valentine' Day i experienced from my 13th age.  

I atleast wanted ta make up for that PINK Whatever Campaign and so i wore Clothes in Pink.I sat with my laptop breakin my head ta type my first reprt for my project. So that was my Valentine' Day special. 

So comin ta this most celebrated Valentine' Day thing. What are we doin to love?? Marketing it? Restricting it to a day? Celebrating it jus for 24 hours? Then what is love for. Love is meant to be throughout the year, 24*7. Close ur eyes and he/she stands in front of you. That moment is also ur Valentine' Moment. Daily is ur Valentine' Day. Do u forget ur sweetheart all the other days and remember suddenly on Valentine' Day.

Hey people come on yaar, Marketers are tryin to make a fool of us and media is playin games. We common people don understand it and we land up giving them that profit which their looking for. 

Anyway, am not against Valentine' Day, cause even I know what love is. And I know it lots.  So lets celebrate our love and love each other eveyday of our life. And let everyday be our Valentine' Day....

Happy New Year !!!! and adjoining Stuff !!!!!

Heyi...

Am Back after a brief rest period.. So. Happy New Year. hope everyone started the new year in a good note.  even i did.

I was compering out there in my apartments get together on new years eve. Had a great start cause i had made so many people happy at the beginning of the year. So my goals get satisfied in parts.  and i had a lot more before the new years eve. 4 days i was jus literally out. Kutcheris, Dance Class, this work that work everythin and now i feel so bored.  To day i jus feel guilty for wastin time except for 2 hours of class and another half an hour of temple. i made the TV at my place cry until i turned it off. the remote is still cursin me for pressin it every few seconds.

All channels have nothin ta play at afternoon times. Don they realize that if they play nice things in the late evenings it would clash with all this kolangal arase all bullshit. Afternoon i can jus watch it at ease. Hope they read this blog and programme things accordingly.. So thats bout it.. Am excited and tensed about my concerts. Preparin too... Should go well. I ll surely keep u posted. so BFN
